Lawrence D. Mann, Founder and President, Top Achievers, has over twenty years experience in the areas of sports and working with children. Mann founded Top Achievers in 1993 to offer a full line of services to the youth in the community. Mann was a successful athlete and gained immeasurable experience from training with many professional athletes. Mann became West Plano Athletic Club's sales and marketing manager. He established himself later as an athletic consultant for professional athletes and children, serving as President of his own training program.

Additionally, Mann has provided youth in the community the opportunity to work and enhance their athleticism into college scholarships. He has mentored many pro athletes, including:

Mann attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan for two years before finishing his last two years at SMU. For the past 12 years, Mann has coached children's football and basketball teams. Mann is a staple in the Plano community. He teaches a bible study class on Sundays at Grace Outreach Church. Mann conducts a youth leadership class at Grace Outreach. In 1999, he was the MC for the Drug Free Rally at Clark Stadium, which had 15,000 youth in attendance. Mann has been a volunteer for the FCA Program (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). At the Collin County Prayer Breakfast in 2001, Mann was on the speaker panel with Don Williams, Chairman, Trammell Crow and he's on the selections committee for Judge Henderson in Collin County. Lawrence has been married for 21 years and has three boys.
